Required Documents

Before a student can begin school, school staff must verify:

  • A student's proof of age from a birth certificate (preferred), hospital records, signed affidavit by the parent/guardian, or other approved & appropriate documentation.
  • That a student has had at least one dose of each required vaccination. (See the 2020-2021 Oregon Required Immunizations to see what your child may need). Or, that the student is exempt from required vaccines as per a medical or nonmedical vaccine exemption document.

Soft Start for Kindergarten Students
For the 2021-2022 school year, the first day of school for all 1st - 5th-grade students will be Tuesday, September 7. However, Kindergarten students will only attend one day this first week for a 45-minute evaluation. (You will sign your child up for their time slot during fall registration in mid-August).  While at school on one of these days, our staff will be going over expectations and routines. Teachers will also be assessing students' skills and knowledge in literacy & math, as well as motor and expressive skills.
