Kindergarten Classroom Rosters are Ready

Dear Kindergarten Parents, 

Thank you for bringing your kindergartner to school this week for our meet-and-greets! We are so excited to welcome our newest students on Tuesday, September 8th.

Kindergarten & K/1 Blended Classroom Information
Cloverdale features one kindergarten classroom and one K/1 blended classroom. To clear up a common misconception, students are not placed based on academic or social-emotional levels. Instead, an entire team focuses on creating well-balanced classrooms in both settings.

In our blended classroom, students receive targeted, grade-level instruction:

• Small Group Focus: We push in additional adult support so the teacher can split the class to teach dedicated kindergarten content to one group while an instructional assistant works closely with the other.
• Proven Success: As a small school, blended classes are a core part of Cloverdale. Students in our blended classrooms show equal—and often greater—academic growth compared to traditional classrooms due to the high level of small-group support.

Open House Tonight!
Join us tonight between 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM! It is a wonderful chance to visit the school, meet your child's teacher, and connect with other families.

How to Find Out Who Your Child's Teacher is: 
Via the ParentSquare Mobile App:

• Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner.
• Select your child's name.
• Tap Dashboard in the top-right corner.
• Select Classes.

Via PowerSchool:
If you cannot view the assignment in ParentSquare, log into your PowerSchool account (where you completed registration) to view your child's class schedule.
