High School Class Teaches Business Lunch Etiquette

How do you act at a business lunch?

Monday in Mr. Medlock's Life Strategy and Management class, Cascade High School learned and practiced how to introduce themselves, ask questions, and present a professional image at a luncheon at the district office.

Staff members hosted each table for lunch and discussion, and then at the end chose one student they would hire. Mr. Medlock also reminded students that not getting picked is something that will happen in real life. They need to get used to not being chosen, and keep at it! You can see more pictures on our Facebook page.

Our students did a great job! #everydaylearning in action at Cascade.

Cloverdale Annual Egg Drop

Can you protect an egg dropped from the roof?

That's the task students at Cloverdale Elementary faced last week at the annual egg drop. Some eggs made it, and some...definitely did not!

A huge thank you to our local Turner Fire Department for helping us launch our eggs safely! You can see more pictures on our Facebook page.

Learning and Service

Mr. Brill’s AG class combined learning with service Wednesday. They came out and learned to use gas weed eaters around the track to make things look sharp for the track meet!

The band has qualified at all three festivals this year, and on Thursday they took first place at league for the second year in a row.
