Read-A-Thon

Dr. Seuss - Read Across America Week

Read-A-Thon
To celebrate literacy, we are launching our first-ever Read-A-Thon fundraiser! While our school library is a wonderful resource, classroom libraries are where students find their "just right" books (titles specifically matched to their independent reading levels). Over time, these well-loved books need refreshing. Our goal is to raise funds to purchase brand-new, high-interest books for every classroom.

How to Support Us:
Please visit our Zeffy Page to donate. 100% of donations go directly toward putting new books into our students' hands!

Daily Dress-Up Schedule
Help us bring these classic stories to life by dressing up each day:
  • Monday: The Cat in the Hat * Wear your favorite or silliest Hat.
  • Tuesday: Fox in Socks * Show off your most colorful or Crazy Socks.
  • Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday * Get creative! Wear your Wackiest Outfit.
  • Thursday: Oh, the Places You’ll Go! * Wear a Sports Jersey or a Souvenir Shirt from a place you’ve visited.
  • Friday: The Sleep Book * Cozy up for a day of reading and wear your Pajamas to school!

"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." — Dr. Seuss

Thank you for your continued support in helping our students grow into lifelong readers!

With appreciation,
Cloverdale Elementary School
