Gentlemen, Start Your Engines!
Calling all Dads, (or foster dads) and Lads! It’s time to head to the workshop and get ready for our brand new, upcoming Cloverdale Pinewood Derby Race. This is a fantastic opportunity to team up, get creative, and enjoy some high-speed competition right here at school. 

To ensure every racer has a car ready for the track, please note these key dates:

• RSVP by Friday, Feb. 13th: Please let us know you’re coming as soon as possible so we can purchase enough kits for everyone! 
• Pick-Up Day Fri. Feb. 27th: Kits will be sent home with your child. They will get to hand-pick their favorite car style and paint colors to take home for your "pit crew" session.
• The Big Race: Saturday, March 7th from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Snacks provided!

What’s Included in the kit?
We are providing almost everything you need to build a champion racer:

• Variety of Car Kits: Multiple body styles your child can choose from.
• Paint & Supplies: All the colors needed to make it stand out.
• Note: If you want specific decals or stickers, please provide those yourself.

More Than Just Speed
While we’ll definitely find out who has the fastest wheels on the track, we’re also awarding trophies for:

• Most Creative
• Best in Show
• People’s Choice

Whether you're a master engineer or just looking for a fun afternoon of sanding and painting, this event is all about quality time. We can’t wait to see what you and your lad build together!
