Principal's Message

Cloverdale Families,

We want to extend a huge thank you to our PTO for organizing a fantastic Square 1 Art Day for our Cloverdale students. Also, a special note of gratitude also goes to the Woods Family for putting together the Scavenger Hunt. It was wonderful to watch our families solve puzzles and search for the hidden clover together! We truly appreciate our engaged and supportive Cloverdale community.

With February right around the corner, our calendar is packed with excitement. We have several events coming up, including Cloverdale Camp Read-A-Lot and Grandparent BINGO. Please see the important details below so you don't miss out on the fun!

School Information

Late Start Wednesday - Feb. 4th

School will start two hours later than usual so our staff can spend the morning sharpening their skills. We are committed to continuous growth, and this time allows our team to dive into new strategies to better support and meet the unique needs of every student.
 

PTO Meeting, Thur. Feb. 5th at 6:30 PM

Want to get involved but don't have a sitter? No problem! We are providing free childcare in the so you can focus on the meeting while the kids have fun nearby. Come hear the latest school updates, share your ideas, and connect with other parents. We’d love to have your seat at the table.
 

School Spirit - Time Travel Day on Fri. Feb. 6th

Get ready to turn back the clock! It’s time to dust off those vintage vibes and show off your favorite era. Whether you want to rock the poodle skirts of the 1950s, the neon leggings of the 1980s, or even the groovy tie-dye of the 70s, we want to see your best "blast from the past" style!

From retro cool to futuristic fun, dress up in your favorite decade’s attire and help us journey through the ages. Let’s see how many eras we can visit in one day!
 

Schlabach Bowling Day - Fri. Jan. 6th

This is a celebratory field trip since Mrs. Schlabach's classroom sold the most greens during our annual fundraiser! Mr. Sorensen AND Mrs. Hawkins will join in on the fun while Mrs. Bradley teaches PE!
 

Valentine Candy Grams - 5th Grade Fundraiser

Please support our 5th graders as they fundraise for their end of year parties! They will selling Valentine Candy Grams during morning recess during the week of February 9th - 12th. They will be delivered on Friday, February 13th.
 

Butterbraid Sales Begin Feb. 9th

It's that time of year again when our 5th graders sell Butter Braids to help support their end of year field trips, parties, and promotion! Take a look at the following document for further information.

President's Day - No School - Mon. Feb. 16th

There will be no school on Monday, February 16th in observance of Presidents' Day. Enjoy the long weekend! We look forward to seeing everyone back in class on Tuesday.
 

Grandparent BINGO - Wed. Feb. 18th

11:00 - 11:50 am Grades 4 & 5
12:10 – 1:00 pm Grades 2 & 3
*Due to limited space, we ask that siblings remain home.

No RSVP needed! Just go directly to the gym, sign in, make your way to a table, & your grandchild will find you. Grandparents will enjoy a snack while playing Bingo with their grandchild and try to win some fabulous prizes! Coffee & water provided and the book fair will be open! Don’t have a grandparent nearby? Fosters are welcome!

The book fair is canceled at this time. We will have another book fair next year!
 

Shamrock Showcase - Fri. Feb. 27th 8:15 am for Kindness

We are excited to host our upcoming assembly to celebrate students nominated for being Country Kind, Country Strong, or for exhibiting our Monthly Character Trait! Parents of recipients will be notified in advance if their child is being honored. In addition to their award, recipients will enjoy Lucky Lunch in the office with Mrs. Bradley and Mrs. Augsburger the following
